Research in our Laboratory

The Laboratory of Plant Taxonomy and Ecology has conducted research on non-vascularplants especially bryophytes. The Department also maintains aresearch Herbarium (HIRO) which has an extensive Bryophyte collection. Now, our research cover a broad range of topics on the bryology including taxonomy, molecular phylogeny, ecology, morphology, cell biology and evolutional biology.
